A Great Cause

School for special need studentsIt is a winning combination when you can have fun while contributing to a very worthy cause. Each year, the staff of the High Road Schools of Maryland/Delaware come together for a Volleyball Tournament with the proceeds going to a family in need. This year, over $2300 was raised to help a High Road School Family.

As for the tournament, this year, we had a record 15 teams entered. Along with teams from the High Road Schools throughout Maryland and Delaware, The Arrow Project, The Children’s Guild (Chillum and Annapolis Campuses) and Florence Bertell joined the competition as well.

Last year, the team from Children’s Guild (Chillum Campus) came from behind to take the championship. This year, however, the High Road School of Delaware won 8 games including 2 in the championship against Florence Bertell to hoist this year’s Volleyball Championship Trophy.
